HOSPITAL ZELL AM SEE

The design utilizes the different levels of one full floor at the entrance-level to the annex with the nursery residential house and is characterized by a large, verdure halving at the basement. Here are inserted atria in maeander shapes, which are also verdured and serve for lighting the spaces in the basement. Above, arranged staggered, there are three 2-hip three-storey components, orientated from east to west. The arrangement of the additional-buildings takes into consideration the dimension of the surrounding structure, creates a new  spatial arrangement of the main-view and an adequate entrance -area. The patient-rooms (mainly orientated to the south) ensure enough natural lighting and offer a wonderful view into nature - on Lake Zell and the mountains Hohe Tauern. The hospital shall be surrounded by a park, the trees in the south and along the street in the east can be preserved and represent a special value for this area (shielding of the car-parking against the neighbour-sites).
