PARK&RIDE PUNTIGAM

A solitaire building structure, the different inclines of the facade can be seen in the urban context: Along the street it forms a clear, dominant end, newly defines the site at an urban-planning striking point and closes the place at the crossing Triester Straße - Wagramer Weg. On the other side (the striking area at the Murschotterterrasse as protected landscape with precious rests of the riverside) an adequate landscape design is achieved by including the green area and terracing the office levels with these front-gardens to the roof. The facade, receding in the north, enables natural lightening of the parking-areas by an atrium and provides good sunlight conditions for the adjacent Europan-area. The system for the garage are half-storey, shifted parking-levels. By stretching the parking-levels an atrium is created in the centre of the garage, providing natural lightening, sufficient ventilation and spatial attractivity.
